Goku is a Saiyan with a monkey tail who met The Cacklers as a small boy in PoorsTown and fought beside them through Campaign 1. In Campaign 2 he is Kakarot, the Saiyan Ellery left home to find, now with a son of his own.

History

Campaign 1

PoorsTown. When the Cacklers passed through the energy field around PoorsTown on Mount Paozo, they were caught in a time loop on Tappin’ Day. Every day at the eclipse, Goku, then a small child, unknowingly turned into a giant ape and destroyed the town. Miss Perigree had set the loop to protect the town’s children. Elyon, the only one who kept her memories between loops, eventually found a way to stop Goku without any children dying, which ended the loop.

Giras. The party followed Goku home to Mount Paozo, where he told them the nearby warehouses belonged to Giras, an adult white dragon. Goku and Greene kept Giras talking while the others stole the Star Orb. The two of them were waiting outside when Terra and Umber Squad surrounded them.

North City. Goku and Master Toshi came to the Greatest Below the Heavens tournament as training. Later, on Scotch on the Rocks, Goku led the distraction team outside the Silent Vaults and fired a Kamehameha straight into the front wall. He was knocked unconscious holding off the guards but stabilized. Afterward the Cacklers called on Bulma and Toshi to “discuss war and bringing back Goku.”

Piccolo. Goku traveled with the party, Sophie and Master Toshi to West City for the final fight with King Piccolo. When he found Toshi dead, he cried, “Master Toshi, wake up. It’s not fair.” Oolong shoved him aside and brought Toshi back with Reincarnate.

Campaign 2

Ellery left home to find a Saiyan named Kakarot and prove her strength, and Prince Vegeta later charged her with finding him too (Session 05, Session 17). In the Saline Coast, Kip showed her a picture on the wall of a Cackler Barrel restaurant: a small figure with spiky black hair and a monkey tail, which he guessed might be Kakarot.

In North City, Ellery ran into Goku and Vegeta in the warehouse district just as The Whisper confronted them. The Whisper had abducted Goku’s son, Gohan, and shattered a crescent artifact stolen from Ellery to simulate a solar eclipse. Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and Ellery all turned into giant Ozaroo apes (Session 64). Greene cut off Goku’s tail with a legendary blade, and Goku fell back to his normal form, unconscious (Session 65).

Before The Cell Games, the Cacklers chose Goku and Vegeta as the best emissaries to send to Namek for a new guardian of the Star Orbs (Session 68). Vegeta agreed and left. Later, meditating in Coghaven, Ellery could not sense either Vegeta or Kakarot (Session 73).
