History
Campaign 1.5
Belle was new to the group about twenty years after Campaign 1, and was surprised when someone hadn’t heard of her last name. She met Satchel from Barqs’ old crew and Ruby (C1.5 Chapter 01). When Terra arrived, Belle was starstruck: “Oh my God, it’s such an honor to finally meet you.” In the Tabasco Forest, Perfect Cell told her, “I’m sorry, you’re not on the list.” She answered, “Belle Pepper. I’m your worst nightmare.” (“Riveting.“) (C1.5 Chapter 02)
At the Cell Games, Jimmy Firecracker introduced her as a fresh face whose “bite is bigger than her bark.” Her lightning hit Cell harder than anything ever had (“That hurt, you little snot.” “That’s the most damage anybody has ever done to me.”), and she dispersed two of his kienzans in midair (“Cute.”). After Oolong hugged Cell and let go, Belle’s lightning arced through Cell’s body and blew him apart. When the Games were over there was a little pop, and Belle was removed from the battlefield. She had been summoned by her god to serve as a representative in a civil war among the deities, The War in the Heavens (C1.5 Chapter 03).
Campaign 2
When Sophie sensed an intruder in her quarters at CAGS, she teleported back with Belle Pepper and Reese and found the Whisper trying to get into the Cacklers’ private collection (Session 65). After Sophie trapped him in a Wall of Force, the Whisper tried to escape across the planes, but Belle Pepper counterspelled him and kept him there. She and Sophie then finished him with lightning and magic, and he died apologizing to someone named Quixiokotle (Session 66).
At the Cackler Barrel, after the assassin Scorch killed Will Jr., the Cacklers noticed how much the assassin looked like Escher. Belle Pepper cast a powerful Remove Curse on Escher that restored the memories he had traded away, and Escher immediately recognized Scorch as his younger brother, Fable Reverie (Session 67).
