Type: Town · Notable resident: Judge Marius Vellum (“the Gavel”), deceased

Brinewick Hollow is a town near Green Hollow; the road to it forks off the road to Green Hollow (Session 50). It was home to the retired judge Judge Marius Vellum.

History

Sawyer Elmheart sold his Ghostpetal Turnipbloom to a buyer in Brinewick Hollow (Session 52), who turned out to be Judge Vellum, known as “the Gavel,” a middleman in the ghost-petal trade with the Velvet Truffle Company. The FAM came to town to investigate him (Session 55). Escher and Arghen scouted the outskirts and carriage routes for ambush sites, while Nelda, Ellery and Kip worked the town center. Ellery slipped invisibly into the Judge’s gated estate and spotted a vulnerable third-floor window in the sprawling mansion, and Nelda intercepted his mail, finding a letter in Elvish from Lazra Vant. The party hid out at the cultist Pella’s residence while they planned. Vellum was killed at a midnight shipment drop at a remote intersection (Session 56).
