The Crepe Republic is home to Ginger Town and Fire Mountain, where Campaign 1 began.
History
The Ox-Queen lived in a castle on top of Fire Mountain until a sorceress connected to the Rose Ribbon Army laid a magical fire curse on the mountain. Afraid the fire would spread through the Republic, the Ox-Queen summoned Greene, Juliette, and Elyon to Ginger Town and sent them to find Master Toshi.
At her request, Toshi fired his most powerful kamehameha wave at the mountain. It blew Fire Mountain to pieces and destroyed the castle. In the rubble the party found their payment, the Four Star Orb, the first of the Star Orbs (C1 Chapter 01).
Later in the campaign, Elyon tried to teleport to Toshi’s house in Ginger Peach and landed in Ginger Town instead (C1 Chapter 10).
Campaign 1.5
About twenty years later, screams erupted through the streets of Ginger Town, followed by deafening silence. When the Cacklers arrived, the town was empty, its streets littered with neatly discarded clothes, each with a ragged circular hole near the spine. Perfect Cell had absorbed its people, and he named Ginger Town first among the towns he had taken (C1.5 Chapter 01, C1.5 Chapter 02). After Cell’s defeat, the Cacklers wished on the Star Orbs to restore everyone he had killed and absorbed, and Ginger Town’s people came back (C1.5 Chapter 03).
