The Ox-Queen is the ruler whose summons in Ginger Town started the story of Campaign 1. Her castle sat on top of Fire Mountain in the Crepe Republic until a magical fire curse cut her off from it.
History
The Ox-Queen called three people to Ginger Town: Greene, for abandoning the Rose Ribbon Army; Juliette, for her past jobs and recent loss; and Elyon, for her latent talent and the recent attack on her family by the Thorned Rose. A curse had set Fire Mountain ablaze, and she was desperate to put the fire out before it spread through the rest of the Crepe Republic.
She sent the party to find an old friend, the hermit Master Toshi, who had trained her father. When Toshi arrived, she asked him to fire his most powerful kamehameha wave at the mountain. He hesitated, then did it, blasting the mountain apart and destroying her castle along with the flames.
She told the party their payment was in the rubble and that they would know it when they found it. It was the Four Star Orb. She then told them the legend of the seven Star Orbs and the wish-granting dragon Shenlong, and revealed that the sorceress who cursed the mountain was tied to the Rose Ribbon Army.
