The Warhorde Clan is the half-orc clan that raised Wilbur. Its camp lies beyond the desert country to the south of the Saline Coast, past The Last Drop tavern and the Saiyan lands.
History
Eldon Reed threatened Wilbur’s “Warhorde clan” if Wilbur kept investigating him (Session 10), and a knife-pinned note at Wilbur’s stall repeated the threat. Fearing for his family, Wilbur led the FAM to the camp to warn them (Session 18). His father, Grommash Crushmore, refused to move the camp and chose to fight.
The clan’s priestess told the legend of the Bloodhowler: not a single being but a title handed down through generations, a curse that consumes those who hunger for chaos and feeds on their darkest desires until they are wholly transformed. Grommash revealed that the Bloodhowler was his banished brother, Eldon Crushmore, whom he suspected of killing their father on a hunt. The clan, which had dismissed Wilbur’s tinkering as a “useless talent,” called on him to build defensive devices. The Bloodhowler attacked riding a skeletal giant elk at the head of a zombie horde, and Wilbur killed him with his laser pistol (Session 19).
Afterward Grommash renamed his son “Regular Wilbur” and offered him the leadership of the clan, which Wilbur declined. Wilbur’s adoptive mother embarrassed him with his childhood blanket before the party left (Session 20).
Wilbur once played in a band, “My Chemical Nomance,” with his brother.
