Quick facts

Type: Ruined temple · Location: Near Green Hollow · Original deity: Cyrollellee · Later use: Hideout of the Cult of Brandoboris

The old temple of Cyrollellee near Green Hollow lies in ruins. Sawyer Elmheart’s cult turned it into a site for its gatherings, and it is where the FAM rescued Kip.

Layout and events

  • Outside: A corpse flower, a massive plant made of decaying remains, ambushed the party. Wilbur, Escher and Ellery burned and battered it apart (Session 52).
  • Upper halls: A hallway rigged with a pit trap, locked doors that Escher opened, and a cramped corridor where Nelda and Ellery fought a giant ruin spider. Nelda’s glaive split its head and tiny spiders skittered out (Session 52).
  • Depths: A defaced baptismal pool and more traps, including a deep pit Wilbur fell into. In a chamber with coffins, four halfling cultists, Pella, Tibbon, Brindle and Hob, attacked with eldritch blasts. Brandoboris briefly appeared in a time blip to laugh at them. Pella was spared and said Sawyer waited behind a magically sealed color-puzzle door (Session 53).
  • Storeroom: Crates of Ghostpetal Turnipbloom bound for Judge Vellum (Session 53).
  • Inner hall: Beyond a heavy stone door, the party cornered Sawyer, who died when Cyrollellee chased off Brandoboris. Wilbur solved a numerical cipher on a door, opening a hidden cell where Kip and his father, Broul, were found alive (Session 54).
  • Sawyer’s office: Guarded by a mimic disguised as a chair, it held a hidden cache of gold, a ledger of ghost-petal shipments and Sawyer’s journal (Session 55).
