Quick facts
Role: Fortuneteller · Home: Her palace in Pepper City · Family: Master Toshi (brother) · Status: Alive (last seen early in Campaign 1)
Fortuneteller Yaba is Master Toshi’s sister, a seer who keeps a palace in Pepper City. She told the party where to find every one of the seven Star Orbs.
History
Toshi sent the party to Yaba to locate the remaining Star Orbs. Word was that anyone seeking an audience had to defeat her champions. When the party arrived, they found two trials waiting. The first was a labyrinth full of monsters, including a minotaur skeleton. In the second, each of them fought someone from their past: Elyon faced her sister Ashryn, Juliette faced Sgt. Major Maroon, the dragonborn who killed her husband and daughter, and Greene faced Lawrence Cyan, who was on a one-day pass back to the land of the living.
After the party won all three fights, Yaba answered their question. She was contractually obliged to answer in front of every participant, Maroon included, though Juliette managed to distract him from most of it. Yaba named seven locations: the orb the party already carried, the southern tip of Rice Town, the Toasty Desert, a cave off the coast of the Ranchinian Peninsula, the Collector’s collection, a warehouse in Beerlia, and Rose Ribbon Army headquarters.
She then teleported the party to a spot near one of the orbs. They landed in a pirate prison cell, where they met Oolong.
