Quick facts
Species: Donkey · Owner: Wilbur Crushmore · Status: Alive as of Session 20
Steve is an elderly donkey who carried The FAM out of the Saline Coast.
History
Escaping Salt Spun Manor with the kidnapped mayor in his bag, Wilbur bought Steve and a cart from a farmer named Eugene for a steep 20 gold (Session 12). At the city gate a guard recognized Steve, and the party talked their way out by claiming to be a family taking the sick animal to a friend’s farm (Session 13). Steve survived a goblin ambush, but soon fell badly ill, breathing heavily and sweating, which Nelda feeding him eggs did not help. Wilbur paid the bartender at The Last Drop to look after him, though he overheard that the donkey would be disposed of as soon as they left (Session 16).
After the Bloodhowler fight, Nappa found Steve alive at the abandoned tavern and returned him (Session 18). Sylas Riverstride later healed him (Session 20).
