Quick facts
Type: Unionized ship’s crew · Ship: The Odd At Sea · Captain: Captain Teft · Size: Nine at hiring · Status: Active (as of C2 Session 83)
The crew of The Odd At Sea is the nine-member company that came with the ship when The FAM took it from Kellem Stormforge. They are a mix of dwarves, a goblin, and others, and they work under a union contract.
History
The crew disliked Stormforge, and Captain Teft offered to work for the party if they could legally remove him and produce a writ of ownership. Once the party had their (forged) writ, the crew presented a union contract. Its terms: five gold a week per crew member, a 15% share of profits, and universal healthcare.
The crew was moved to admiration when Nelda played a bagpipe mini-concert for them while Wilbur set off fireworks. Escher once planned to meet a crew member to use some “firemoss,” until Kip and Nelda intervened.
By the Cell Games the ship was docked in North City’s harbor, and the party checked in with the crew by sending stone. The crew then took it on to the Saline Coast as a decoy while the party went underground. They flew the converted airship to Udon Heights to collect the party, and stand ready to pick them up when called.
