Felix Moonshadow works at the zoo of the Saline Splendor Festival. He was supposed to be watching the wolves the day they escaped, and the search for him was the first investigation The FAM ever took on together.
Overview
At the festival zoo, Felix is in charge of designing and setting up the animal exhibits. He has a creative mind and a background in environmental design, and he builds habitats that are safe for the animals and engaging for visitors, often with interactive elements that teach people about the animals’ natural behavior.
History
The wolf escape (Session 1)
On the party’s first day in the city, three wolves escaped from a zoo enclosure and caused a panic at the festival. Afterward the group found a distraught zookeeper who told them the wolves had been drugged, and that Felix, who was supposed to be on watch, had disappeared. The group decided the escape was probably a planned distraction and went to the artisan district to find him.
The rendezvous (Session 2)
They tracked him down. Felix had left his post for a romantic rendezvous. This only made Escher admire him more; he thought the man was “cool.”
The girl from Felix’s room
The woman Felix had been with turned out to matter more than he did. In Session 3, Escher was determined to find “the girl from Felix’s room,” believing she was connected to the attack on Cedric Lightharbor and to the death of Isabella Thorne.
In Session 8, Escher told the group he had found and followed her. He overheard her talking with a fancy dwarf with a monocle, who was shocked about Tobias Bigsby’s arrest and worried about “snoopers.” Nelda identified the dwarf as the city treasurer, Orin Coppercoin, who was later revealed to be poisoning Mayor Eliza Windrider.
