Quick facts
The Deck of Many Things is a magical deck whose cards can change a person’s fate, sometimes for the worse.
History
Juliette and Oolong found the deck in an old hideout from Juliette’s thieving days in West City. Juliette drew a card, and her red hair grew to her knees and turned bright pink. It cannot be changed back by anything short of a wish (C1 Chapter 07).
Outside Cherudo Beach, Oolong had the magician David the Amazing Davvers draw from the deck. The second draw ripped Davvers’s soul away to an unknown place and left him a shell. Oolong later claimed Cackler Rule Seven meant a magician must give his “hearts” to a stronger one, which is why Davvers had “given” him his cards (C1 Chapter 13).
The deck has not appeared in Campaign 2 as of Session 83.
