Quick facts
Campaign: Campaign 2 · Session: 59 of 83 · Arc: North City and the Cell Games · Where: Saline Coast Sewers; The Underdark
The reunion was tense. Nelda and Ellery argued over their different priorities: Ellery was focused on reaching North City for The Cell Games, while Nelda was mourning her father. Looking for a way forward, the group followed The Whisper down into The Underdark.
In a mushroom clearing, the party fought and killed an aggressive armanite, with Wilbur landing the killing blow, and took from it a pass to the “Renegade Club.” Soon after, a more dangerous threat rose out of an underground river: a beholder. Its central eye snuffed out the party’s magic, and its rays put Ellery into a magical sleep. It then telekinetically flung her thirty feet into the rushing current. The party scrambled to defend themselves against its deadly eye stalks while Ellery struggled to drag herself onto the shore.
