Character art from Dragon Ball (Akira Toriyama / Toei Animation).
Visser 3 is a yeerk that took control of Greene in Beerlia and was later forced into the body of a wizard named Yamcha.
History
When Greene came through the portal into Ostenkask, still badly hurt, a group of men captured him and took him by boat to a cave, where he was brought before a figure called Him. After Greene was knocked out, a yeerk was put into his ear and controlled him for the next few days.
While the party worked on the mystery of the silent plague, they discovered Greene was being controlled and had to fight him. During that fight, the yeerk in Greene killed Rachel, second in command of the Island Watch. The party brought Greene to the Island Watch and interrogated the yeerk, learning it was named Visser 3 and that it was trying to overthrow Him. They forced it to move into a recently captured “Wizard” named Yamcha.
When the party confronted Him, Yamcha/Visser 3 was knocked off the boat into the water as the cave collapsed around them.
Later mentions
After the fall of The Collector, Terra Misu Umber said the Gem Amethyst had asked her about a wizard named Yamcha. She remembered him as the man who wanted oatmeal. Rule four of the Cacklers’ rules is “no oatmeal on the boat.”
