Quick facts
Race: Goblin · Parents: Captain Barqs and Ibeesee · Former crew: Crew of the Rootbeer Float · Status: Dead (killed in the Silent Vaults)
Joey Faintart is a goblin, the son of Captain Barqs and Ibeesee, and the crewman who sold out the Rootbeer Float.
History
On the way to Scotch on the Rocks, the party found a goblin hiding aboard the Rootbeer Float. Joey was part of the original crew and Barqs’ son. He had avoided capture with the rest of the crew because he had made a deal with the Rose Ribbon Army: the ship, in exchange for money and a position in the Army.
The party and crew held a trial on deck, found Joey guilty of treason and mutiny, and sentenced him to banishment. Elyon flew him on her Flying Nimbus to Takkoh and left him at an inn.
Joey later ended up in the Rose Ribbon Army’s hands, and his mother tried to get him back by trading them the Rootbeer Float. The Cacklers found him with Ibeesee and a Rose Ribbon soldier deep in the Silent Vaults. Ibeesee, not in control of herself, cast circle of death, and Joey crumpled to the ground, dead. When she came to her senses, her first words were “You killed Joey.”
Barqs blamed himself: “This is all my fault. I should have stuck up for Joey and made sure we brought him back to her and none of this would have happened.”
